Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Human Resources Generalist at CTS Excavations in Scottsboro, AL. The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for creating, implementing and administering HR policies, supporting employees with HR related inquiries and concerns, processing weekly payroll, as well as annual payroll processing and annual payroll audits, managing employee benefits, and ensuring compliance with DOT, and all applicable federal, state and local employment, discrimination and labor laws. The role also involves creating and deploying recruitment strategies based on staffing needs, and leading outreach efforts to attract qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Human Resources (HR) Management and HR Policies
• Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
• Experience in handling employee relations matters
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Detail-oriented and able to handle confidential information
• Proficient in HRIS and other HR software
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources
• PHR or SPHR certification is a plus
