Description
We are currently seeking a Robotic Engineer position for developing scalable robotic interfaces for programming biological systems.

The Computer Scientist Assistant will engage in exploiting high throughput capabilities in expanding how biological programming is implemented in an end-to-end fashion - i.e., multiple iterations of design, build, test and learn all run autonomously through AI-enabled infrastructure.

Works with an interdisciplinary team that has expertise in AI, high performance computing, and robotics systems to explore the combinatorics of design involved in studying secure biosystems design.

The Computer Scientist Assistant will build scalable robotics interfaces for our emerging robotic heterogeneous platforms including Hudson robotics, OpenTron liquid handling systems, ROS-based systems and virtual reality interfaces.

Position Requirements


Required skills:

  • RD1: Masters degree in computer science, robotics, mechanical engineering/ electronics and electrical engineering
  • Comprehensive programming in one or more of the following languages: C/C++, Python
  • Experience in building ROS (Robotic operating system) interfaces and systems
  • Experience with programming heterogeneous devices
  • Solid background in sound software development practices and techniques.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal and external collaborators and ability to work in team environment.
