Description

Responsibilities:
Partners with management to improve lending policies and procedures that protect the Credit Union and members' best interest.

Communicates Credit Union goals and direction with consumer lending team members to ensure clear understanding of rules, regulations, policies, and expectations.

Provides ongoing leadership and coaching to team members.

Conducts performance appraisals as required.

Identifies gaps in performance and develops appropriate plans to improve performance as needed.

Directs and assists with all lending processes, including loan processing, loan documentation, underwriting and approval and/or denial of loans, standards updates, audits, and reports/analysis, as needed.

Manages QA reports that are completed in a timely manner, identifies systematic issues and finds ways to improve processes.

Maintains knowledge of all regulatory requirements regarding lending including underwriting criteria and dealer lending practices.

Identifies and helps implement new systematic changes that increase operational functionality.

Promotes and establishes strong, positive and productive working relationships within the organization through commitment to the company's purpose, mission and core values.

Bachelors of Business Administration (required)
Experience

2 years: *2-3 years of management experience required. (required)
5 years: *5+ years of consumer loan processing experience required. (required)
*Previous consumer loan underwriting experience preferred. (preferred)
*Computer proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Internet, and Email. (required)
