Position Summary:
Review, analyze, and evaluate the Distribution Operations business procedures.
Implement polices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve day to day operations while developing strategies to align with the organization's goals and customer service expectations.
Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for all shipping locations to monitor productivity, utilization, compliance, and safety.Essential Job Functions:
Management jobs help set the objectives and plans for organizations and people at MONSTERFacilitates execution, coordination, and communication across teams and organizations to achieve performance objectivesMaintain hire/fire responsibility and all other people management dutiesDevelops new products, processes, standards, or business plans in support of the Function, Segment or Business Unit strategy.
Establishes key elements of business plan with measurable contribution toward the achievement of results for the department; focus is on short-to mid-term results (e.g., 1 to 2 years).May have budget accountability for area of responsibility.
Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results have a moderate impact on the mid to long-term success of the function or division.
Executes moderate to significant improvements to processes, systems, or products in order to enhance performance of discipline.Problems and issues faced are difficult to moderately complex, and require detailed information gathering and analysis.
Communicates regularly with parties within and outside of function. Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups. Periodically interacts with executives and senior stakeholders across the enterprise. Typically communicates with parties outside of the organization.
May work to justify and gain cooperation of other parties on practices, policies and procedures.
Sometimes requires ability to influence others outside of own job area on Direct and implement the operational strategy, business processes, and systems for the overall distribution operationsMaintain vendor relationships and compliance to all SOPs within the distribution network.
Perform numerous site visits to track performance and maintains continuity throughout the overall distribution operationMonitor monthly costs and expenditures to ensure targets and goals that are established are executed within the company standards.
Continuously develop strategies and actions plans to reduce waste and drive efficienciesEstablish measurement metrics and sets performance targets for distribution-related functions that align with company objectives for vendorsImplement data-driven analytical tools and systems to continuously monitor operations, identify inefficiencies, and develop optimization strategies.
Collaborate with both internal and external partners to ensure strategies and processes are aligned with the overall company objectives and directives.
Ensure that all internal distribution centers adhere to the documented company safety standards in conjunction, to industry safety protocols and comply with OSHA, DOT, or other government regulations.
Position Requirements:
Education:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field ofSupply Chain Operations, Warehouse Operations or similar field of studyExperience: More than 7 years of experience in Logistics, More than 7 years of experience in Warehouse Operations
Computer Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with SAP ECC, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Pay Range:
$142k - $168k
