_ Summary:

_

The cycle counter will conduct cycle counts to assist in maintaining accurate perpetual inventory. They will assist with the research of root causes of inventory variances and maintenance of accurate inventory records. They will work with other team members to perform physical inventories and other items as necessary.


_ Main responsibilities:

_


  • Adhere to all ISO Procedures and work instructions.
  • Perform raw material and finished goods cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Assist in maintaining orderly stocking areas, including proper labeling of those areas.
  • Research inventory variances in a timely, accurate and thorough manner, and implement root cause/corrective action measures as needed.
  • Maintain accurate raw material records, and perform accurate data entry of raw material adjustments.
  • Execute ongoing preparation for physical inventories.

Requirements:


_ Qualifications and experience:

_


  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior inventory/cycle counting experience.
  • Strong sense of urgency.
  • Good verbal and written communications skills.
  • Good computer skills; basic knowledge of Excel is a must.
  • Forklift training must be successfully completed.

  • Good working knowledge of warehousing, shipping, production and inventory control

  • Be able to work independently with little supervision
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
