The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) - Public Law Institution - is the central real estate company of the federal government.

Its main tasks include unified real estate management, property administration and sales, as well as forestry and nature conservation services for the properties.

The BImA employs around 7,000 people nationwide, spread across its headquarters in Bonn and nine directorates, as well as over 120 locations.


The headquarters is currently seeking two Strategic Purchasers for Infrastructure Facility Services (Buildings) (f/m/d) for the Eddyville, IA location, starting as soon as possible.

What are your main responsibilities?

  • Leading the creation of procurement documents (including contract terms, service descriptions and lists, price sheets, precalculation) in collaboration with the relevant departments
  • Advising the departments on the procurement of services for infrastructure building management (IGM) with a focus on cleaning & maintenance in/on the building taking into account all relevant conditions (e.g. economic aspects, sustainability, alternative products, etc.)
  • Analyzing procurement needs and planning associated procurement measures
  • Supporting the procurement department in responding to bidder questions and evaluating received offers
