SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Practice Administrator, the Practice Supervisor provides tactical leadership to maximize the effectiveness of all service delivery systems and financial performance, engages staff and cultivates a clinic culture that prioritizes patient-centric care.

Coordinates the day-to-day operational aspects of the multiple clinics. Works closely with staff and providers in each unit to ensure that all fiduciary and clinic goals are met.

MON - FRI 8:30AM - 5:30PM


Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of three (3) years' experience in related field. Minimum of two (2) years supervisory experience. Working knowledge of ambulatory care operations.

Essential Job Duties
Complies with all Riverside Medical Clinic quality, safety, and emergency policies and procedures. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice in every interaction with patients, colleagues, providers, and leadership.

Ensures patient safety in the preparation and provisioning of care related to but not limited to medications, procedures, infection prevention.

Assign duties and examine work for accuracy, timeliness, and conformance to department standards.

Orient and train new employees. Maintain and develop skill levels of current employees. Provide written and oral instruction.

Identify problem areas such as understaffing, customer complaints, and inefficiencies. Take corrective action as needed.

Model, maintain, and promote customer service skills and standards.


Support the established processes and systems to enhance customer service by providing coaching to staff and ensuring a safe environment for patients, staff, providers and visitors, and operates clinic in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements impacting areas of responsibilities.


Assist in managing the revenue cycle and support the management of supply costs, track inventory usage, using purchasing information management systems, including maintaining staffing levels that adhere to labor standards and effectively controlling staff premium pay.

Coach, evaluate, and recognize staff. Initiate disciplinary action when necessary.


Assist in determining the workload priorities to enable timely completion of tasks while monitoring work performance and supporting with training and coaching as necessary.

Direct and assist staff in conflict resolution and act as an information resource.

Perform or assist subordinates in performing duties.

Maintain employee attendance records. Verify employee time sheets, and submit time sheets to payroll.

Responsible for all personnel related duties: counseling, interviewing, hiring, and termination, as needed.

Ensure all expired sample medication and/ or patient supplies are discarded upon expiration.

Participate in work groups teams task forces and committees to support ongoing improvement in clinic operations.

Other duties as assigned.
