WELCOME TO THE TEAM

The European Site & Network Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at these sites. This ensures the basic supply of the company's divisions, enabling them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to the plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory law.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are the "Digital Innovation Team", an enthusiastic interdisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, data scientists, and computer scientists. From Ludwigshafen, we drive the digital transformation of three European sites. Our focus is on innovative, challenging projects with diverse requirements. We are in close exchange with research and universities and use a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies from software development, data science, machine learning, operations research, and cloud computing.

You will develop web applications with us for Industry 4.0 solutions, such as software for optimizing a networked site or AI-based assistance systems for production and logistics.

Together with project teams, you will accompany the entire development process from the initial idea to commissioning.
