Job purpose
Duties and responsibilities
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, and other complex documents.
- Prepare, serve, and file legal documents under instruction of attorneys via court electronic filing systems.
- Perform internet research.
- Ability to juggle multiple activities and work under pressure with strict timelines.
- Assist with trials.
- Familiarity with The Bluebook, legal cite checking briefs, letters, etc.
- High level of contact with clients, courts, and adversaries.
- Administrative duties include coordinating meetings, calendaring, making travel arrangements, backup reception coverage, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proven experience, with a minimum of two (2) years' experience at a litigation law firm and demonstrates understanding of the litigation process.
- Experience as a Paralegal on trials, arbitrations, etc.
- A basic understanding of legal citations using The Bluebook and online court filing systems.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office; especially Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to learn in a fastpaced environment.
- A positive, "team player" attitude.
Working conditions
- 9:30am5:30pm, Monday-Friday; hybrid.
- There is occasional overtime, as needed (sometimes without notice), including evenings and weekends, compensated.
Salary and benefits
- A salary of $50,000$65,000 a year.

Physical requirements
- This is a largely sedentary role; regularly sitting at a computer station and operating electronic equipment; however, some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
