Job Summary:
Scottsdale Community College is hiring a student Advising Support Assistant
Must be a Scottsdale Community College student registered for 6 or more credit hours and received financial aid eligibility.
Additional Information:
- FWS is a needbased, federally funded program.
- FWS requires the completion of a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and confirmation of federal workstudy eligibility as determined by the financial aid office.
- FWS does not directly pay for tuition, and funds are only available to eligible students attending a minimum of six (6) degree applicable hours in a federal student aid eligible program.
- The FWS award amount is based on your FAFSA results and college funding availability, which will determine the number of hours available to work while supporting the students academic goals.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be a Scottsdale Community College student registered for 6 or more credit hours and received financial aid eligibility.
Desired Qualifications:
The Advising Support Assistant should be able to demonstrate previous experience(s) and skills in:
- Providing high quality customer service skills in person, by phone, and/or online
- Interacting personally and comfortably with customers
- Maintaining confidentiality
- Learn new skills quickly
- Listen patiently
- Communicate clearly with the audience in mind
- Provide wellrounded answers to questions
- Remain calm with upset customers
- Diffuse conflicts
