- Advise on updating NGA cataloging guidelines as needed.
- Develop cross-walk documents for new product lines to enable translations between fields. Provide contractor team leadership, guidance, feedback, and mentoring to lower skill levels. Populate Integrated Library Systems (ILS) database using NGA modified MARC 21, AACR2R, and RDA standards.
- Follow all established NGA cataloging guidelines.
- Conduct collection maintenance services; e.g. filing, bar codes, storage, in process mail, etc.
- Conduct metadata reviews and verification of data integrity; provide feedback to other team members on best practices or persistent errors.
- Request and maintain access to security domain systems (SBU/NIPR, SecNet, NGANet). Provide weekly metrics tracking number of items cataloged.
- Collect, consolidate, and submit weekly reports from team.
- Assist new FTE personnel in onboarding activities.
- Responsible for working with appropriate leadership and lead other contractors, to provide input on the overall management strategy and approach to data integrity efforts and cataloging practices.
- Maintain proper file management in accordance with division standards.
- Support circulation activities when requested
- Combination of 6-10 years of experience working in cataloguing, computer-based data entry, or working in the application of MARC 21, AACR2R, or RDA standards.
- Familiarity with metadata and common coordinate systems.
- Advanced knowledge of DoD or IC map and chart product lines.
- Familiarity with common partner produced maps/products.
- Advanced knowledge of library clerical procedures and practices.

- Master's in Library/Information Science (MLS or MLIS).
- Experience leading a team.
- Experience with map cataloging and collection maintenance.
- Ability to remain flexible to changing priorities and requirements from supervisors and customers.
- Experience with customer service.
