EL CENTRO DEL PUEBLO JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE:
Assistant Bookkeeper


REPORTS TO:
Senior Accountant & Chief Financial Officer Salary $48,000.00

QUALIFICATIONS2+ years' experience in accounting or related fieldProficient in Word and ExcelStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational and analytical skillsWillingness to establish and maintain effective working relationships SUMMARY Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals, spreadsheets, and logs All areas of payroll, knowledge of Paychex is a plus but not required.

Support accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice creation and entry. Prepare monthly invoices with all supporting documentation.

Provide detailed analyses and explanations of all transactions Prepare documentation for external auditors Willing to help fiscal office personnel with any and all accounting tasks needed.

EDUCATION Business Administration or Accounting Degree from an accredited University preferred but not required Languages spoken and/or written:
