Position Mission:
The Manager of Delivery Solutions will be responsible for driving the execution of our Delivery Management solution for our stores and digital properties.
This position will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives and facilitating ongoing improvement of the Last Mile experience as the product reaches customers.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the development and execution of detailed project design/ implementation plans.
Utilize project management and people management skills to ensure timely completion of projects at the highest quality levels.
Assess financial and operational/quality results of new programs against predetermined goals. Determine whether programs should be rolled out, make recommendations and, if applicable, develop implementation strategies and budgets.
Work with IT Finance & Treasury to set departmental and program budgets. Manage expenditures within approved department and program budgets.
Ongoing collaboration with internal partners, as well as external partners will be required.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Education, and Abilities:
Bachelor's degree Information Technology or a related field
3-5 years of experience managing technical direct reports
A thorough understanding and knowledge of the principles/disciplines of the retail/wholesale industry.
Strong technical background and understanding of quality software practices such as DevOps and XP Practices
Strong Agile/Lean background
Strong project management skills and understanding of requirements
A proven record of developing new financial products and/or services
Experience reviewing legal contracts and providing executive summaries
Thinks strategically about business problems and opportunities to focus efforts on projects that most closely support key company initiatives
Superior critical thinking skills and analytic abilities to interpret complex data using SQL, BigQuery, Microsoft Excel and other data modeling/transformation tools
Demonstrated decisiveness and sound decision-making skills
Very strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Comfort and expertise in partnering with multiple cross-functional teams to drive a vision forward
Leverage data and analysis to create effective summary content and deliver compelling recommendations utilizing Microsoft PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to interpret data/facts to make sound decisions with little guidance
Experienced people leader to effectively supervise a team, delegate work, teach and develop professional skills in others
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage, coordinate and prioritize simultaneous projects.
Detail-oriented with effective time management skills to facilitate unplanned projects and interruptions
Work performed in a typical office environment
Travels up to 10% of the time
