Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Construction General Superintendent.

In this role, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the construction project and ensure that it is completed safely, within budget, and on time.


As a Construction General Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing all construction activities from start to finish.

This includes managing contractors, scheduling and coordinating subcontractors, overseeing quality control, and resolving any issues that may arise during the construction process.

You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all construction activities from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with all building codes and regulations.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, ensuring they are onsite when needed and completing their work to the required standards.
  • Manage and supervise contractors, ensuring they adhere to project timelines and deliver quality workmanship.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that budgets are adhered to and any cost overruns are minimized.
  • Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process, including resolving disputes and managing conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and requirements, conducting regular inspections and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure successful project completion.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction industry practices, building codes, and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities, with a proactive and solutionoriented approach.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools, with the ability to effectively plan, schedule, and track construction activities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as required.

Pay:
$130, $160,000.00 per year
