What to expect:


  • As an Expert Transport Network Planning, you will independently and responsibly plan and project large network expansion measures in the transport network (fibre, DWDM, SDH, MW, MESN, IP, and/or O&M as well as mobile edge (SecGW, RNC, BSC)) as the basis for all access networks (mobile, cable, DSL, BSA) and customer types (fixed & mobile, consumer & enterprise & carrier).
  • You plan and project transport solutions for large customer projects.
  • You create network expansion strategies and planning concepts and manage employees in other transport groups during implementation.
  • You manage measures within transformation projects in the transport network.
  • You conduct market studies, requirement analyses, feasibility studies, and business cases prior to transport networkrelated measures.
  • You plan measures in the transport network with regard to e2e performance (latency, bandwidth, etc.), costs (CAPEX, OPEX), and quality improvement in close coordination with other planning groups.
