Job DescriptionSalary: $18.00 which includes the shift differential

We are seeking Machine Operators (2nd Shift) to join our team You will help oversee operational activities and ensure excellent quality control.

Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion
Load and unload equipment and materials
Provide innovative solutions to improve plant efficiency
Conduct routine preventive maintenance on the plant
Log and record readings for equipment and procedures
Maintains a safe and healthful work environment at all times.
Set-up and operate rotary die cutter in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Mount paper rolls and take away completed product.
Follows quality standards, maintains close tolerances, performs quality checks and enters Quality non-conformances into system.
Maintains operating and malfunction/downtime log and required production documentation
Sets-up and operates other equipment when required
Performs routine maintenance and clean up.
Trains "helpers" and new employees as required.
Assists with examining product when needed
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in manufacturing, distribution, or machine operation highly preferred
Familiarity with plant tools and equipment
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Ability to handle physical workload
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
Basic computer skills
Mechanical aptitude
Good visual acuity and color vision
Ability to walk, stand, bend or reach for 12 hours.
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to be flexible in your work schedule; OT as required.
Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safety rules.
