Are you a dental assistant passionate about helping patients achieve their best oral health? Look no further because Olney Dental Wellness in Olney, MD is looking for you You will work on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with a salary ranging from $20-24 per hour, depending on your experience.

Responsibilities include assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring all equipment is sterilized, taking X-rays, managing patient records, and performing other dental-related duties.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take dental Xrays
• Perform patient assessments and record medical history
• Provide chairside assistance during procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
• Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment

Skills:

• Proficiency in medical coding, assisting, and medical documentation
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic
• Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic technique
• Ability to take accurate dental Xrays
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
