Responsibilities

• Process fullcycle payroll for a diverse client base, ensuring accuracy, compliance with relevant regulations, and timely delivery
• Gathering information on hours worked for each employee
• Calculating the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system
• Receiving approval from upper management for payments when needed
• Preparation of 401k census from payroll records
• Perform bookkeeping duties including but not limited to managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, and preparing financial reports.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate employee records.
• Preparation of 1099s
• Collaborate with team members to resolve any payroll or bookkeeping discrepancies or issues.
• Stay current on federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to payroll to ensure compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any payroll or bookkeepingrelated inquiries promptly and accurately.
• Assist with yearend closing procedures

Requirements:

Quickbooks Online (1-2 years minimum)

ADP Payroll (1-2 years minimum)

Excellent client relations and communication skills

Organized and able to work independently

Able to work in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook

High school diploma or equivalent; BS/BA in business, accounting or relevant field is a plus
