PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Distribution Center Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Distribution Center Manager by ordering and maintaining inventory of pavement maintenance products, tools and supplies as well as loading customer orders, driving forklift, filing daily paperwork, working a point-of-sale computer system and conducting various sales and prospecting initiatives.

The schedule for this role is Sunday - Thursday.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Duties will require the ability to read and write in English
Lifting 50 Lbs
Driving a forklift
Using good reasoning skills
Loading and unloading tanker trucks
Reporting on inventories
Providing exceptional customer service
Sales prospecting and cold calling
Data entry and customer relationship management
Utilize a pointofsale computer system on a daily basis

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
Computer proficient
Must pass DOT physical and drug screen.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read, write and communicate in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Required to bend, kneel, stoop, crawl and climb ladders as well as stairs and other equipment. Required to stand and walk. Maximum unassisted lift = 50lbs. Required to communicate with others.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Inside average factory building - not uniformly heated or air-conditioned. Exposed to dust, oil, grime, smoke, fumes and industrial lubricants. Noise level moderate. Required to abide by all OSHAA regulations.

Pay:
$45, $50,000.00 per year
