JOB DESCRIPTION
Family Housing Resources (FHR) is looking for a HUD Service Coordinator for our senior community located in Tucson, Arizona.

The HUD Service Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that residents have access to the supportive services they need to continue living independently in their home.

OVERVIEW
This position is currently part time and pays just over $21k annually.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Possess a four (4) year college degree with a major in social services, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. One (1) year experience in related field; minimum of one (1) year experience in subsidized housing preferred.
• Knowledge, training, and direct experience in elderly and disability services is preferred.
• Must be able to advocate, organize, and problemsolve.
• Strong working knowledge of local community services preferred.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and follow policies and procedures.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills serving individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and SharePoint
• Bilingual in both Spanish and English

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Must have a working vehicle with current tags and be able to provide proof of insurance as travel will be required.
• Ability to pass a company background check.

PHYSICAL AND VISUAL ACTIVITIES:

Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed written or verbal instructions to others accurately and quickly, including answering phones, attending meetings, written correspondence, or other forms of communication.

Ability to communicate effectively (expressing or exchanging ideas by means of spoken or written word).

Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 15 lbs.


WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Office environment at residential property and some travel to various locations in Tucson and Southern Arizona.
• Job Type: Parttime
• Salary: From $17.00 per hour
