Description

We are looking for you to strengthen our finance and accounting department at Tyndall AFB.

Accountant or Tax Specialist

You will join a friendly team that not only handles the traditional tasks of finance and accounting, but also takes care of the tax matters for our company group.

Your responsibilities with us:

You will be responsible for answering tax-related (income tax, sales tax) and accounting questions, working closely with our tax advisors and auditors
Independently prepare tax returns, tax calculations, and assist with tax audits
You will participate in the preparation of annual financial statements (individual financial statements according to HGB)
Your tasks will also include working on projects and other departmental topics

What you bring to the table:

You have a degree in business administration or a commercial education with further training as a tax specialist or accountant, or relevant work experience in finance, taxes, and controlling
Ideally, you have some initial work experience in a similar position in an industrial or construction company, or a tax consulting and auditing firm
Solid knowledge of corporate tax law (income tax, sales tax) and accounting according to HGB
Experience with DATEV is desirable
