    In this role at CubeSmart Self-Storage, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the property.

    The Custodian teammate is responsible for:

    • Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines (including tasks like changing lightbulbs, landscaping, cleaning storage units, and more)
    • Maintaining the appearance of the building and property by sweeping hallways, stairs, and storage spaces, as well as cleaning restroom areas
    • Preparing vacated units for future rentals and reporting maintenance requirements to management
    • Conducting daily storage unit inspections and ensuring spaces are rent-ready

    You'd thrive in this role if you can:

    • Work independently with minimal supervision
    • Communicate professionally with teammates and customers
    • Perform basic repairs using handheld tools and equipment

    Qualifications

    We also want you to know that:

    • You must be able to work on Saturdays
    • Physical requirements may include standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, climbing, and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
    • Travel to other facilities for tasks as directed may be needed

    Compensation: $ - $ per hour depending on experience plus bonus opportunities

    Some locations may require Sunday hours
