Title:
Digital Manufacturing (IIOT) Functional Consultant

Location:
Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months

Must Haves:

- 10-14 Years of experience in manufacturing processes and automation
- Strong understanding of machine connectivity, data collection, business value mapping, and data manipulation
- Proficiency in IIOT technologies and protocols such as MQTT, OPC-UA, RESTful APIs, and cloud platforms like AWS
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

What you'll do:

You will be responsible for implementing IIOT / Digital Manufacturing solutions and translating business requirements into functional specifications
You will create detailed functional specifications, user stories, and system documentation to support development efforts
You will offer consulting expertise in digital manufacturing by aligning manufacturing operations with Industry 4.0 use cases
You will develop comprehensive process documentation, digital logbooks, SOPs, and work instructions

Good to have skills:

- Experience with industrial automation systems, SCADA, and data acquisition systems
- Certifications in IIOT or related fields

$80.00 per hour
