    Description

    The Executive Assistant for Social Work and Pastoral Care will coordinate the administrative support functions required to accomplish the mission of the departments.

    This position provides coordination of office operations, data analysis, project support to the Leader Team including the Directors of Social Work and Pastoral Care.


    This position also plays a pivotal role with patients and families, answering phone calls and resolving issues efficiently and/ or accessing the appropriate escalation path to meet the complex needs of patients and families and our community partners.


    The person in this position will demonstrate excellent customer service that promotes respect and inclusion of all patients, associates, donors and family satisfaction, reflecting family-centered care and the Mission, Vision and Values of Nemours.

    Skills needed to successfully perform this position are the abilities to prioritize tasks, make timely decisions, handle challenges in a calm responsive manner, manage resources prudently and learn quickly and independently.

    This person must work collaboratively, be detail-oriented, organized, and use excellent communication skills - verbal, written, and interpersonal.

    The person in this role must strive to become a life-long learner, whom seeks to increase job knowledge through independent study and formal education with a willingness to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.


    • Maintains highly effective systems for ordering and tracking of essential resources necessary for the function of the department.
    • Manages phone calls from patient families and community partners using the Standards of Behavior.
    • Designs and monitors efficient business systems that ensure operational excellence in all areas of the department.
    • Provides administrative support to leadership, including but not limited to, meeting preparation and minutes, scheduling, student programs, equipment, and environmental organization.
    • Completes data entry; tabulates data for reporting; develops graphs and charts as needed for presentations.
    • Supports the functions and processes for donations and community entertainment collaboratively with team.

    Qualifications:
    High School Diploma

    6 month plus job related experience
