Position Summary


Under the direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Executive Assistant and Grants Manager will report to and work closely with the CEO to handle clerical duties for WCC.

This position will also be responsible for fundraising and overall grant oversight of awarded contracts.


Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this position is $25 - $30 per hour.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and/or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of successful experience in an administrative role.

Essential Position Responsibilities

Executive Assistant_

  • Composing and typing all correspondences for the CEO
  • Maintaining the CEO's calendar
  • Screening calls and other correspondents for the CEO
  • Organizing and scheduling internal management and offsite meetings
  • Performing office duties that include ordering supplies and managing a records database
  • Performs independent research and prepares information for assigned special projects
  • Creating documents and presentations for the CEO
  • Manage confidential information for the CEO
  • Interacts with patients, physicians, staff, vendors, and visitors in ways that demonstrate caring and reflect the WCC mission and philosophy

Grant Management_

  • Oversee grant proposal development including conceptualization, budgeting, writing, editing, managing deadlines, etc.
  • Track grant proposal submissions and responses
  • Manage grants from several funding sources and ensure they stay on track with deliverables and reporting requirements
  • Ensure that grant proposals move expeditiously through the proposal development process, focusing on timeliness, quality, consistency, and compliance of grants processing
  • Research new grant opportunities
  • Coordinate grant reporting and compliance with Program Manager and accounting staff
  • Develop methods and systems to assess the impact of grants and funded programs

Skills

  • Excellent understanding and demonstration of customer service skills
  • Ability to remain organized while managing multiple details
  • Ability to manage work priorities and use critical thinking to resolve issues
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher)
  • Excellent writing skills. Detail oriented
  • Ability to solve problems effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • High degree of professionalism and accountability
  • Punctuality and excellent attendance required
