Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
Enforce rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and respond to emergency situations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by the company.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
Strong surveillance skills with the ability to identify suspicious behavior or activities.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and procedures.
Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment

Duties:

Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unauthorized entry.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance as needed.
Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and granting or denying entry as appropriate.
Perform routine inspections of equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency lighting, ensuring they are in proper working order.
Write detailed incident reports documenting any securityrelated incidents or observations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.
