The
Revenue Cycle Analyst **reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.


The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for compiling and analyzing revenue cycle data used for performance measures, analysis and decision support.

Activities may include analysis of internal or external data, both hospital wide or service line specific. The Revenue Cycle analyst function also includes supporting the Liaisons and management with data and preparation of reports.


Responsibilities:


  • Interpret basic revenue cycle and financial data.
  • Maintain data basis and templates and ensure the integrity by monitoring and auditing outputs.
  • Analyze contract variance and expected payor specific reimbursement.
  • Run routine reports using various systems to extract data.
  • Support NMG leadership's strategic, financial and operational decision making.
  • Collaborate with management staff to provide rigorous analysis in support of NMG business and clinical objectives.
  • Maintain a portfolio of monthly revenue cycle reports, dash boards, and ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Work closely with revenue cycle liaisons to identify trends and opportunities for areas of improvement.

Qualifications

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in health administration or business or equivalent health care work experience.
  • 03 years of experience with Patient Accounting systems, preferably Epic required.
  • Ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of data.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and monitors own work for accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze data and make conclusions and recommendations for decision making purposes.

Preferred:


  • 13 years of experience in a hospital or Physician Billing Office, Accounting, or Finance department
  • Coding experience or some level of understanding of CPT/ICD9 usage.
