We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Erosion Control Specialist to join our team and play a vital role in preserving our environment while delivering exceptional service to our clients.


Responsibilities:


The Erosion Control Specialist will be responsible for implementing erosion and sediment control measures to safeguard the environment from pollution and sediment runoff originating from construction sites.

The individual will work closely with our clients to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and deliver sustainable solutions for erosion and sediment control.


  • Erosion and

Sediment Control Plan Design:
Develop erosion and sediment control plans that adhere to industry best management practices (BMPs) for construction sites.

  • Permit Submittals: Prepare and submit erosion control permits to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR) and local regulatory agencies on behalf of clients.
  • Onsite Inspections: Conduct weekly inspections and audits on construction sites, collaborating with construction foremen and crews to verify compliance with erosion and sediment control plans.
  • Project Management: Manage and organize multiple erosion control projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion and adherence to highquality standards.

Required Skills:


  • Ability to multitask and manage several construction projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in technical report writing and maintaining accurate records.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation to interact effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet software.
  • Indepth knowledge of local, state, and federal erosion control and stormwater management regulations for construction sites.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with team members, clients, and vendors.
  • Strong work ethic and a dedicated team player.

Preferred Qualifications/Education:


  • Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Water Resources, Environmental Policy and Planning, Resource Management, or Civil Engineering Technology with a focus on water resources and/or environmental compliance, or related studies highly preferred.
  • Previous experience through internships or coop programs is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid Wisconsin Driver's License with a good driving record is mandatory.

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour
