- Collaborating on the development of custom automation solutions from requirement analysis, through the design phase, to customer project acceptance (at the IMSTec location and at the customer's site)
- Developing and testing innovative automation processes
- Procuring subsystems for integration into a novel overall system
- Creating the specification sheet while considering customer requirements
- Communicating with suppliers
- Qualifying the subsystem and providing support for integration into the overall system
- Selecting and providing support for the commissioning of specialized hardware (measurement technology, sensors) for automation projects
