Responsibilities:


  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the company's market reach
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Generate leads and cold calling business and homeowners to (1) inquire of their needs and (2) offer solutions to their roofing or construction / remodeling / repair needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate and close deals
  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, such as Salesforce and or Job Nimbus, to track interactions and progress
  • Assist in project management for business development initiatives
Join civic associations like Rotary and Lions Club. Attend weekly lunch / meetings and represent the company

Attend Chamber of Commerce functions like monthly evening mixers, to meet members of the community and respresent the company


Experience:


  • Proven experience in business development or a related field highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of strategic planning and negotiation techniques
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce and Job Nimbus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
We will train you in individual industry specifics such as roofing, remodeling and construction, so you will be comfortable in speaking to individuals or groups


Pay:
$35, $42,900.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Yearly bonus

Travel requirement:

  • Up to 25% travel
