    Description
    Job Title: Restaurant Manager

    Company: Join our team at a well-established restaurant chain.

    General Summary:

    As a Restaurant Manager, you'll be providing guidance and support to hourly staff in franchised or corporate locations throughout a standard 50 to 55 hour workweek. Reporting to the Area General Manager, this role requires minimal supervision.



    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards affecting the organization.
    • Monitor operational standards to guarantee employee training and customer satisfaction.
    • Handle recruitment, evaluation, and promotion processes based on individual performance and business requirements.
    • Supervise employment decisions, guest recovery, and food service issue resolution.
    • Oversee food cost controls and quality management.
    • Analyze cashflow, inventory movement, and other financial metrics daily.
    • Comply with state and federal regulations for employee and guest well-being.
    • Manage all business activities within the unit.
    • Implement Progressive Discipline Policy and set strategic goals for the team.
    • Delegate responsibilities effectively within the management team.
    • Lead by example by being willing to take on any task to promote teamwork.
    • Perform any other assigned duties.

    Requirements:

    Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • Minimum two years of management experience in a full-service environment.
    • Familiarity with back-of-house and front-of-house operations.
    • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using various restaurant equipment.

    Education & Experience:
    • High School diploma or equivalent.

    Certifications/Licenses:
    • Food Service Manager Certificate and completion of M.I.T. Program.

    Physical & Mental Requirements:
    • Ability to perform tasks standing for long hours and engaging in physical activities.
    • Lifting requirements up to 80 pounds occasionally.

    Working Conditions:
    • Climate-controlled workplace with exposure to heat or cold as required for food preparation.
