- Provide direct patient care in the ambulatory specialty clinic setting, assisting with patient triage as necessary
- Coordinate all activities related to patient care within the specialty area
- Act as a liaison between the patient and healthcare team members
- Counsel and educate patients and their families about medical conditions, diagnostic procedures, and medications, among other interventions
- Facilitate and coordinate the delivery of specialty services within the clinic and during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with other members of the specialty team to assess patient candidacy, and participate in related programs and committees
- Conduct public speaking engagements for educational and public relations purposes, and attend educational opportunities and workshops associated with your specialty area
- Generate statistical reports as needed, provide input for departmental policies and procedures and manage established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and quality assurance programs
- Ensure patient safety by remaining proactive and identifying and reporting/correcting potential or actual patient safety concerns, medical errors, and near misses

Specialty Clinic RN
Qualifications: You will need to have a nursing degree from a nationally accredited program, at least 3 years of directly related experience, and a current RN license in the state of New Mexico. You should also possess current CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers certification. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with hazardous materials is expected. Fluency in English and one or more of the following languages is a plus: Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo.
This is a full-time, day shift position (0.80 FTE) located in the ENT Surgical Specialty Clinic. A sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement are available for qualified candidates.
