As an Application Engineer with Discover's SCRA team, you will work with business partners and engineering teams to build, maintain, and scale specialized product offerings for US veterans and active-duty servicepeople.

Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production
Tends to Associate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks, directs the work of Senior Associate Application Engineers, and helps them continue to grow
Contributes to and leads technology communities at Discover

Bachelors – Computer Science or related
~3+ Years – Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
~ 4+ years of experience in Java
~2+ experience with front end development
~ Experience with Open Shift (OCP) or Kubernetes is a plus.
~ Experience with react is a plus
~ Activiti, IBM BAW), including process design and mapping, process development with BPM APIs, process monitoring.
~ Experience in Rest API, CSS, Ajax services, Spring Framework, Angular/React, NodeJs, and other JavaScript technologies.
~ Experience in DevOps and build tools using Jenkins, Gradle, Github., Good knowledge with Agile, Scrum methodology.
