Description
Expertise of different billing systems, including HMO, and Advantage care.- Complete knowledge of various codes—ICD9, Procedure, Revenue, Rug Level and Condition
- Understanding contract fundamentals and skilled at negotiation
- Proficient at computer programs—Excel, Word, billing, etc. and the 10key calculator
- Accurate and detailoriented
- Present in the office during core 8am5pm business hours of normal operating work week unless alternate schedule preapproved by Supervisor.
- Notify Supervisor by phone of absence on a scheduled workday.
- Conduct Account Receivable reviews, monthly to bimonthly, as indicated:
- Advise and support assigned bookkeepers to handle billing questions and problems; correctly adjust claims; cash receipts posting, etc.
- Follow up and collect reimbursement for assigned facilities.
- HMO aging review with collections with supervisor bimonthly.
- Monitor HMO credit balances at assigned facilities on a monthly basis for adjustments/refunds.
- Research and prepare refunds for assigned facilities.
- Assist with information needed for HMO audits.
- Attend workshops/seminars to keep current with regulations, procedures as indicated.
- Must be a team player and work professionally with others
Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour

Education:
- High school or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:
- ICD10: 1 year (preferred)
