Description
CRC was selected by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to reconstruct and widen US 290 from approximately the east end of Circle Drive to Loop 1 and SH 71 from US 290 to Silvermine Drive in Travis County, west of downtown Austin, Texas.
The approximately seven-mile design-build project will widen and improve US 290 and SH 71 through Oak Hill and act as a gateway to the hill country.
It will also serve as a key route to Austin for the residents of Oak Hill, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Dripping Springs and other growing communities west of Austin.
- This position is responsible for performing program administration and less complex project coordination of community relations and public affairs projects.
- Administer the local Fluor Cares and volunteer program including coordinating projects, events, special activities and committee management, and assisting operation centers and project offices with program implementation
- Assist with the implementation or specific aspects of assigned programs and initiatives e.g., Scholarship Program for Employees' Children, Building Futures, volunteer management software platform
- Partner with internal affinity groups e.g. Emerging Leaders, Growing Representation of Women, Graduates Advancing to Professionalism, etc. to ensure integration of community involvement strategy
- Participate in public relations and community activities, events, and programs ensuring Fluor representation, visibility, and market positioning
- Assist operations centers and management
- Support marketing and brand positioning initiatives to ensure strong reputation management and client relations
- Other duties as assigned

- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.
Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and four (4) years of workrelated experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eight (8) years if nondegreed
Other Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a timeconscious and timeeffective manner
Preferred Qualifications
- Four (4) years of experience in Community Relations/Public Affairs or related field
Salary Range
- 55,000 to 94,000
