Receiving associate Department : Warehouse
Accountable to:
Production Supervisor
Job summary:
A receiving clerk typically works in a warehouse environment and is responsible for tracking inventory levels, handling all aspects of receiving and keeping accurate records.
Responsibilities/daily tasks:
- Manages the receipt of all products, materials, and supplies.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, service providers, and others involved in the receipt of products.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming shipments.
- Maintains a clean, neat, and memberready area.
- Promptly unloads deliveries and sorts and documents.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting/weighing accurately.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Unloads trucks as needed

Education/ Training:
- High school diploma or Equivalent
- Forklift Certification (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Scanning, sorting, weighing and documenting incoming materials
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong sense of time organization and urgency
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Attendance and punctuality are an essential function of this position
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic Computer Knowledge. Word; Excel; Chats
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Be able to stand for long periods of time and required frequently: standing, walking kneeling, squatting, bending and reaching
- Ability to identify material, through onsite training
- Work in hot or cold temperatures
- Ability to read and understand basic work instructions

Additional Qualifications:
- Experience working in a computer asset recovery/recycling environment.
- Experience work within a databased warehouse management system. Preferred Razor ERP.
- Experience with the California SB20 recycling program.
- Experience with R2v3 recycling certification.
- Experience with ISO standards.
Attendance:
In order to effectively fulfill job responsibilities and service to customers, employees are expected to maintain an acceptable attendance record.
Work Environment:
Employees will work in a non-climate control environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
