A privately-owned, full-service, specialty upscale casual restaurant is seeking an Assistant Manager.


Company Overview:


Manager Overview and qualifications:

As an Assistant Manager, you would report directly to the General Manager.

You are responsible for all operations in a full service restaurant, including marketing, catering, team scheduling, sales goals and results.

You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, safe and positive, team-oriented work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service.


Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Responsible for some financial (cash handling, submitting invoices, reporting results, etc.) and personnel/payroll related administrative duties
  • Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels; maintain personnel files; develop staff
  • Check and maintain all service areas for proper setup and cleanliness; maintain proper supply and inventory levels
  • Possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations
  • Assist the General Manager and other managers

Requirements:


  • High School graduate or equivalent required
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a full service restaurant manager preferred
