Founded in 1915, Olympia Fields Country Club is steeped in tradition with a rich history of excellence and prestige.

For over 100 years, OFCC has hosted such prominent events as the US Open, US Amateur Championship, the US Senior Open Championship, numerous Western Opens, the PGA Championship, the KPMG PGA Women's Championship, most recently, the BMW Championship.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Head of Grounds and Golf Course Superintendent, the Greenskeeper ensures the excellent playing conditions of the Club's golf courses.

Responsible for landscaping and maintenance of the Club grounds and two golf courses.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of how to properly operate landscaping equipment walking & riding mowers, trackers, riding blowers, backpack blowers, string trimmers, preferred.
• Must be mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools.
• Possess a cando attitude and tackles everything with a smile.
• Efficiently completes assigned duties.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Selfmotivated and is accountable for one's actions.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.

Requirements:


Education, Certifications & Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of prior landscaping experience, preferred.
• Valid Driver's License
• Fluent, conversational English, preferred.
• Fluent, conversational Spanish, preferred.
• Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, twisting, grasping, and repetitive motions.
• Occasionally lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a continuously moderate noise level.
• Comfortable working outside, with exposure to various environmental elements heat, cold, rain, humidity, dust, pollen, debris, gases/fumes, etc.

Expected Work Hours:

• This is a partialyear, fulltime position.
• Shifts are Monday through Saturday, Summer

• Overtime may be required, extending the work day to 10+ hours, holidays, and/or including voluntarily working 7 days a week.
