Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Insurance Coordinator.

As an Insurance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of insurance claims and maintaining patient records.

This position requires knowledge of medical coding, insurance verification, and medical office procedures.


Duties:

• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
• Process insurance claims and follow up on any denials or discrepancies
• Review and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
• Coordinate with healthcare providers to obtain necessary documentation for claims submission
• Assist patients with questions or concerns regarding insurance coverage and billing
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
• Stay updated on changes in insurance policies, managed care plans, and medical coding practices
• Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement

Pay:
$ $25.05 per hour


Experience:

• Insurance verification: 1 year (preferred)
• Medical billing: 1 year (preferred)
