Description
Duties * You will serve as the Command's primary point of contact for all matters concerning Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP).
* You will promote continual process improvements for increased material readiness and decreased deficiency issues, resulting in cost savings to the Navy.
* You will work with various Shipyard Departments/Offices and their respective PDREP points of contact in various Functional Areas (FA) located in buildings, dry docks, piers, onboard ships, etc.
* You will establish PDREP program training requirements to specific positions for respective modules and areas of responsibilities within the program for users.
* You will perform shipboard tours and participate in Command and NAVSEA audits for material related issues.* You will identify, report, collect and evaluate supplier performance information and assign roles and responsibilities within the shipyard to ensure the accountability and oversight of suppliers and contractors.
* You will develop/update the Command PDREP instruction.* You will report bi-annual status of the PDREP Program to the NAVSEA Command PDREP Manager, Shipyard Commanding Officer, Code 100CE and Shipyard Department Managers.
