    Description

    Duties * You will serve as the Command's primary point of contact for all matters concerning Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP).

    * You will promote continual process improvements for increased material readiness and decreased deficiency issues, resulting in cost savings to the Navy.

    * You will work with various Shipyard Departments/Offices and their respective PDREP points of contact in various Functional Areas (FA) located in buildings, dry docks, piers, onboard ships, etc.

    * You will establish PDREP program training requirements to specific positions for respective modules and areas of responsibilities within the program for users.

    * You will perform shipboard tours and participate in Command and NAVSEA audits for material related issues.

    * You will identify, report, collect and evaluate supplier performance information and assign roles and responsibilities within the shipyard to ensure the accountability and oversight of suppliers and contractors.

    * You will develop/update the Command PDREP instruction.

    * You will report bi-annual status of the PDREP Program to the NAVSEA Command PDREP Manager, Shipyard Commanding Officer, Code 100CE and Shipyard Department Managers.

    * You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.

    * You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

    * This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

    You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. * Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics.

    You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector administering a product data program by evaluating training requirements, supplier performance and resolving problems to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of program operations while ensuring standards are within regulatory requirements.

    This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
