- Direct and execute the physical movement of shipments and prepare all legally required documentation
- Implement transportation plans through analysis of conditions for delivery, regulatory requirements, alternative transportation options, and cost
- Create, manage and report appropriate metrics for U.S. Transport Operations. Provide periodic reporting of shipments and deliveries, project milestones, and supplier performance
- Interface with Customers, Suppliers, Trade Compliance, Plant personnel and other individuals, both internal and external, as required
- Perform duties in compliance with federal, state, local and site-specific regulations and agreements. Support audit preparation and compliance
- Write and revise procedures to ensure consistency with all safety, regulatory compliance and site work requirements
- Bachelor's degree - preferred B.S. Degree in Business, Transportation and Logistics, Supply Chain or equivalent
- 5 years in a regulated, global transportation and logistics function - preferred 2+ years of experience shipping / transporting hazardous materials
- Advanced knowledge of transportation principles and solid understanding of U.S. Import/Export regulations. Strong analytical skills
- Subject matter expertise in Class 7 – Radioactive Materials Transportation preferred

Support the Manager of U.S. Transport Operations at the Columbia site to establish transportation policies and procedures and provide direction to transport and non-transport personnel to effectively execute the functions and activities of the department. Plan, organize and control shipments of radioactive and non-radioactive, nuclear related products to and from various licensed consignees, including customer reactor sites and other Westinghouse locations.
