    Description

    Somos is a creative global digital marketing agency based in Shenzhen China, UK and US. Our clients include both new and established brands expanding into the global market.

    We're looking for a Video/photo Content Creator that knows how to hook and convert an audience with viral, high-performance short-form video content. This person is someone who knows the ins and outs of how to create for various social media such as TikTok, YouTube, Sanpchat, Instagram,etc. - and the differences in audiences and content on each platform. We're looking or someone who can drive digital marketing results, not make feature films

    This is a contractor position with one-off projects/payments and the opportunity to increase work scope based on performance.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Creating/editing high-performance video and video ads – aligned with client objectives and brand guidelines.

    · Working with Somos internal team to determine results of content and iterate for improved performance

    · Working with account managers to determine content strategy for both driving short-term sales/growth results and building long-term brand equity via social media

    QUALIFICATIONS

    · English speaker

    · Results-driven experience in social media photo/video content creation

    · Knowledge of professional video editing techniques and software (Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro X)

    · Writing short-form script skills.

    · Understanding of viral video principles - especially the first 3 seconds

    · Finger on the pulse of trending topics, influencers and content across social media platforms

    · Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude and growth mindset

    · Working knowledge of 2D animation and motion graphics

    · 3D animation a plus
