Job Overview:


Warehouse associates on our shipping team are critical members of our team, ensuring our products are picked and shipped promptly.

You will efficiently and safely load trucks, sort, transport, and stage tires within the department by carrying, pushing, rolling, or operating warehouse equipment as needed to complete tasks.

You may also pick, pack, and ship tires to customers. The Warehouse Associate reports directly to the facility's supervisor and manager.


Duties And Responsibilities May Include:


  • Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise.
  • Ensures accuracy of all shipping documents by strict adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Assists with loading, moving, stacking, and staging products.
  • Assists with quality control and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Checks orders for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
  • Assists in material handling duties such as packing or loading tires.
  • Uses a warehouse management system, systemically opens/closes shipments, and prepares accurate shipping labels for outbound freight.
  • Enters data into the warehouse management system and maintains all data and records relative to shipping activities.
  • May use a computer and RF Scanner.
  • Assists with other administrative duties as needed by the leadership team.
  • Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations.
  • Keeps a clean working environment and optimizes space utilization.
  • Communicates and cooperates with supervisors and coworkers.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience, such as knowledge of packaging and shipping standards (preferred)
  • Experience using a pallet jack or EPJ (preferred)
  • Experience with warehouse management system (preferred)
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment (preferred)

Qualifications:


  • Must pass a preemployment background check.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Versatile, flexible, and willing to crosstrain into other business areas.
  • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record.

Target Based Range:

- $ per hour

  • The targeted range for this role takes into account a range of factors that are considered when making compensation and hiring decisions; included but not limited to: skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
