Currently, we employ more than engineers, working in areas such as modernization, maintenance, and procurement of rail vehicles and their components. As an engineer at Carter Springs, you will ensure that the largest rail fleet in Germany is always maintained at the highest quality.

We are currently looking for a Head of Infrastructure and Facility Management (m/f/d) for DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH at our location in Nuremberg.
Your responsibilities:

As the Head of Infrastructure, you will oversee the performance of service providers such as engineering firms and construction companies, independently handle any issues that arise, and contribute to finding solutions

You will be responsible for adhering to the budget, ensuring quality, and timely implementation in various construction phases

Coordinating with authorities and involved parties is an important aspect of your role, as well as monitoring compliance with regulations and permits, and obtaining all necessary approvals and clearances on time

You will proactively participate in the development and coordination of the facility development plan, ensuring the continuous availability and functionality of the plant infrastructure and properties

You will lead and motivate the employees in your team, both professionally and disciplinarily, for the Nuremberg vehicle maintenance plant
