- Prior intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention experience with a psychiatric mental health population required preferably in an inpatient setting
- Registered Nurse or Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work field required
- BSN or licensure/license eligible for LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred
- 11pm-7:30am Mon-Fri (additional hours, as business needs)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Successfully complete a drug test
- Successfully pass a national background check
- Physical agility to manage patients
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Strong Computer skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong Leadership skills
- Exposure to psychiatric patients who may exhibit violent/aggressive behavior

Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients. Cedar Ridge is a behavioral health facility that encompasses a 116-bed acute psychiatric hospital and residential treatment center on a beautifully wooded campus with a stocked pond, school, outdoor courtyard and playground. The Admissions Clinician provides telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention, initial contact with referral sources and potential patients, coordinates the referral and intake process, determines appropriate level of care, facilitates the admission process and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
