About the Position
The HR Operations Generalist will work within multiple areas of HR with a specific focus on Payroll and Benefits.

Their mission is to ensure accurate payroll processing and reporting, benefits administration and overall compliance with all applicable federal, state and local requirements.

They will collaborate in the development and implementation of policies and practices that align with the CCI's goals.

This role will work independently and as part of a team achieve the goals of the Human Resources department and promote company culture.


What will you be doing?

  • PAYROLL ADMINISTRATION: You will process our bi weekly, multi state payroll accurately and on time.
You will ensure all earnings and deductions are set up accurately and taxes are withheld and reported appropriately. You will work closely with accounting to ensure accurate reporting.

  • BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION: You will administer all benefit programs, including health, wellness and retirement plans.
You will work with the SVP of HR to evaluate benefit programs and handle the setup and implementation of plan changes or new benefit role outs.

  • LEAVE OF ABSENCE (LOA): You will oversee the compliance of Leaves of Absence, providing the appropriate documentation, tracking, and communication to ensure all relevant local, state, and federal and laws are met.

S COMPENSATION:

You will oversee our worker's compensation policies, including maintaining all necessary reporting and tracking, working with the SVP of HR on policy renewals and rate reviews, claims management and escalation as necessary.


  • COMPLIANCE: You will stay up to date with local, state, and federal labor laws and regulations, ensuring our policies and procedures are in compliance with regards to payroll and benefits programs.
  • INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL AUDITS: You will be responsible for project managing internal and external audits for all payroll and benefits programs to ensure timely reporting and successful resolution of any audit findings.
  • CUSTOMER SERVICE: You will respond to inquiries related to payroll and benefits.
You will collaborate with vendors, brokers, and others to educate our teammates about all CCI sponsored benefits programs, changes to timecard reporting and approval processes, etc.

  • DEVELOPMENT OF GUIDELINES,

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES:

You will be responsible for collaborating with others to update and/or developing guidelines, policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits programs.


  • BE INQUISITIVE: You will be expected to continually review processes, ask questions and make improvements.
  • ANALYZE: You will collect and analyze data on our payroll and benefits programs to identify trends and areas for discussion and improvement.
  • COLLABORATE: You will have the opportunity to interact both with internal and external resources at all levels to identify areas for improvement, brainstorm solutions and implement change.
  • All Other duties as assigned.

What do I need to Succeed?

  • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Proficiency with MS Office Applications and HRIS/Payroll systems along with aptitude for identifying and exploring other technology solutions.
  • COMMUNICATION: Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to communicate via Teams or other like products. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
