    Job Summary: LG Chem America, Inc. is seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to support procurement activities in Atlanta and internationally, including Korea.

    Main Responsibilities

    The Procurement Specialist will handle all procurement planning tasks as delegated by their supervisor. The role may evolve to adapt to changing business needs.

    Proficiency in Systems

    • Track procurement progress, manage payment transactions, and oversee SAP/ARIBA procurement data.
    • Utilize SAP/ARIBA for procurement processes, Functional Location Management, storeroom functions, and maintenance planning.

    Minimum Requirements

    Education: Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering

    Skills and Expertise

    • 5+ years of procurement experience in a production facility
    • Ability to follow instructions accurately
    • Familiarity with Incoterms (International Commercial Terms)
    • Capable of independent work
    • Effective team player
    • Proficient in workplace technology and software
    • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
    • Strong communication and numerical skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    The ideal candidate would have advanced skills in SAP/ARIBA usage.
