Summary

Primary responsibility is to drive a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, primarily to deliver or pick up orders and packages.

May load and unload vehicles.

As time permits will also be responsible for moving, storing, and shipping items as needed to support production and sales schedules, while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday; 8:30 am 4:30 pm

Essential Functions

• Deliver packages and orders to customers per daily truck schedule
• Load and unload shipments and materials
• Record details of deliveries or shipments
• Verify and keep records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepare items for shipments
• Assist in unloading and loading raw material as needed
• Maintain maintenance on vans/box truck and inform Plant Manager of any repairs needed
• Assist with shipping outgoing finished goods when available
• Manage recycle area
• Manage ink and waste coating kits and drums
• Assist within Warehouse and Shipping department as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality
• Observe safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions
• Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events

Education and/or Experience

• Must have a Chauffeur's license
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL with air brake certification preferred, in order to backup/assist our CDL driver.
