Dining Room Supervisor - CVI**Independent Living
SCHEDULE:
Primarily 8:00am - 4:30pm M-F / Secondary 11:00am - 7:30pm, including Nights, Weekends and Holidays.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
The Dining Room Supervisor plays an instrumental role in promoting high quality customer service to the residents at Hartsfield Village and helps further our goal of providing excellent care at every level.
Seeking individuals with strong managerial and leadership skills, a creative mind, and an eye for detail.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Lead Dining Servers throughout dining service by preparing daily communications and assigning sections and side work
- Assist with planning and execution of special events and holiday parties
- Maintain dining room reservation book for Independent Living and Assisted Living dining areas
- Create and maintain all new resident and employee files as needed
- Update the daily menus in the POS, mail room, and outside the dining rooms
- Assist with training staff in dining room operations presents and reviews Job Specific Department Orientations and Job Descriptions to all new employees
- Maintain a watchful eye for any special cleaning needs in all dining rooms, kitchen, or wait staff serving areas
- Track employee attendance by reviewing all timesheets, recording calloffs and recording tardies
- Interact with residents, guests, and family members and display a cheerful, helpful, and friendly attitude at all times
- Help maintain china, glassware, flatware, linen and uniform inventory
- Close the kitchen, making sure all equipment and doors are secure
- Responsible for scheduling, payroll/attendance
- Coach and counsel staff
- Adjust schedule to cover call offs and shift changes as needed, etc.
- Visit guest service areas to assess satisfaction levels
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years' supervisory and/or food service experience in full service Senior Living facility
- Minimum 2 years' fine dining service experience
- Must possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suites and ability to learn company systems
- Event planning experience
- Scheduling, Payroll/Attendance experience
- POS point of sales experience helpful
