    Description

    The Campus of The Jewish Home Greater Harrisburg is currently hiring **Food Service Workers** The purpose of the Food Service Worker is to perform routine general service tasks in kitchen, cafeteria, dining room, dish room, patient/resident, coffee shop and/or vending area, and support our mission to **ENHANCE** the quality of life of those we **SERVE** and their families, and to **SUPPORT** individual beliefs, practices, and customs. ***$2.50/hr* *BONUS* for every hour you work on top of base rate**

    **Available shifts include:**

    ***Full Time Days working 6:30am - 2:30pm***

    ***Full Time Days working 11:30am - 7:30pm***

    The Food Service Worker will:

    Maintains friendly and efficient attitude towards customers, co-workers and clients

    Sets up assigned station in work area

    Brews coffee, fills beverage machines, sets up hot/cold food areas, and salad bar area

    Sets up, operates, clean and dismantles dish machine

    Stocks and dismantles condiment areas and replenishes paper and china supplies

    Assists with the proper storage, dating and rotating stock

    Maintains merchandising in service areas

    Works on serving line and in dish room, loading and unloading dish machine

    Cleans tables, counters and various types of kitchen equipment and sweeps and mops floors

    Assists with catered events if required

    Qualified Food Service Workers have the following:

    Prior food service experience is desired.
